RELEASE NOTES
People record their profession, see roles matched to it when given a job description, and Supervisors get AI marking suggestions, in Compassly v2.5.
People now record their profession in their Compassly profile when they register, for example nurse, pharmacist or physiotherapist. Anyone with more than one registration, such as a nurse who is also a midwife, can record both.
People can update their profession later. Doing so does not change any job descriptions they already hold.
As organisations add more roles, the list to choose from when assigning a job description gets long. Compassly now highlights the roles linked to the person's profession, with all other roles still available in case someone is working in a role unusual for their profession.
Each organisation decides which roles go with which professions. If no roles match, Compassly shows the full list.
Compassly can now use AI to take a first look at written answers on Supervisor-marked stages. It compares each answer with the question's answer guide and suggests a pass or a fail, with a short explanation for any that it believes will fail.
The Supervisor accepts, amends or rejects each suggestion and finalises the stage themselves, so responsibility for every mark stays with a person. Supervisors choose whether to use it, after reading what AI marking can and cannot do.
We've made Compassly's terms of use far clearer when registering.
A small but much-requested visual update: moving back from a stage to its competency now keeps your place on the screen, so it is quicker to carry on.
Try it now in Compassly, or contact us to book a demo.
