RELEASE NOTES
Competency updates, marking requests and grouped reminders by push, email or in the app, so work fits around busy shifts, in Compassly v3.0.
You no longer have to wait for reports to take action. When a competency is completed, renewed, failed, restarted, deactivated or invalidated, or a renewal or localisation is started, Compassly lets the people involved know. Supervisees hear about their own record, and Supervisors hear about the people they supervise.
Nobody is told about their own actions, so every notification is about something someone else has done.
Due soon and late reminders give people time to act before a competency falls behind. Job descriptions often assign a whole set of competencies with the same due date, so Compassly gathers those into one reminder instead of a flurry of separate alerts.
Completed competencies get the same treatment as they near expiry, with a reminder when one is due to expire soon and another on the day it expires, so renewals can be planned in good time.
Supervisors receive the same reminders for the people they supervise, so they can offer support early, well ahead of an appraisal or audit.
When a supervisee submits a stage, their Supervisor gets a notification with the supervisee's full name, and one tap opens the stage ready to mark. Once it is marked, the supervisee hears straight away, so feedback arrives while the work is still fresh.
Every notification is kept in one list in the app, with an unread count, and each person chooses whether to get push alerts, emails or both. Settings come in three groups: status changes, evidence or marking, and late or due soon.
Supervisors can set these separately for their own competencies and for the people they supervise, so they hear about what matters most to them.
We've also made some smaller improvements that we think will help usability, such as a larger back button and a clear Done button on screens that complete a task.
Try it now in Compassly, or contact us to book a demo.
