Batch actions for Supervisors

Supervisors can now act on several of a person's competencies at once, in just a few steps, instead of repeating the same action for each one in turn. You can sign off a group of competencies retrospectively with one set of evidence, put several into renewal together, or change their completion due dates or expiry dates in one go.

This helps when someone joins with a completed paper passport, returns from long-term leave or renews a full set on the same cycle.

Team oversight without joining

You can now add someone to a team as an Observer, which suits people whose roles need wider oversight across several teams. Observers can do everything they could as a Supervisor in that team, including assessing, but they do not appear in the team list or count towards the team's figures.

That sets them apart from people added to a team manually, who become members and are counted in the team's numbers.

People who need oversight of every team, such as education leads, can also be given permission to view all teams in the organisation without being added to each one.

Turn history on marked stages

When it is the other person's turn on a supervisor-marked stage, you now have read-only access to every previous turn while you wait, so you can look back at what was submitted and marked. The other person's turn in progress stays private to them until they submit it.

The historical report for a completed stage now shows the full turn history, including who took each turn, and time spent split between supervisee and supervisor.

Return a stage to draft

People with the right permission can now return a completed stage to draft. This gives the person signing off a competency more control at the final review: if they are not happy with some of the detail in an assessment, it can be reopened and put right before sign-off.

Who can do this is a permission each organisation sets.

Locations by site

Three buildings with lit windows stand side by side, each under its own map pin, gathered together by a green line along the ground.

Locations can now be grouped by site, which makes them easier to understand in larger, multi-site organisations, and means national passports can be mapped geographically across every organisation using them.

When a Supervisor adds a job description for someone, the locations where they work are shortlisted on a My locations tab, so adding people to their own location is much quicker.

More flexible web reporting

Each organisation can now have several web reporting dashboards, and access to each one is an assignable permission, so organisations decide exactly who sees what. Team dashboards can also be filtered, so everyone uses one common dashboard but sees only the data for the teams they supervise.

Other improvements

Progress bars on competency summaries now include expired competencies, giving a fuller picture of each team at a glance.
