Programme notifications, cohort reporting, competency expert views, monitoring teams and finer control over sign-off permissions in Compassly v4.2.
Programmes now send notifications in the app, by push and by email. Preceptees hear about their own record, preceptors hear about the preceptees assigned to them, and Programme Leads get the same notifications for every preceptee on the programmes they lead.
Each milestone triggers one reminder when it is due soon and another if it becomes late, unless it has been completed. Each person chooses what they receive in their notification settings, where push and email start switched off.
Cohort cards on the dashboard now open a cohort view with milestone and record reporting for that cohort. Cohorts can be open, closed or inactive, and inactive cohorts drop out of dashboard totals while every record is kept.
Each status and membership change is logged, so there is a clear history of who joined or left a cohort and when. Admins can also give a cohort a start date, which fills in the programme start date for new joiners.
Subject experts can now follow particular competencies across the whole organisation without access to everything else. Admins add a group observer rule to a Supervisor group, one competency per rule, and members then see a dashboard card with organisation-wide status for those competencies.
Admins can now make a team reporting only. Members of that team no longer see it while its observers still do.
This suits teams set up to monitor a staff group, division or site, without giving every Supervisor in that monitoring team full access.
Approving retrospective "Already achieved?" completions now has three separate permissions: for competencies and stages, for programmes, and for milestones. Organisations can take these away from routine assessors while keeping them for senior or specific roles.
Admins can also set a default access level for Programme Leads, keep some stages for leads only, and choose who can mark a milestone as not completed.
Supervisors can now see a competency's version history in the app, with each published version, its date and what changed.
For a short time, change history for job description templates stopped showing in the app. It has now been restored, so thank you for your patience.
