You complete assessments on whichever device suits you, during a shift or afterwards, so learning fits around your work: written answers, multiple choice and evidence uploads. Your supervisor observes practice and signs off in the app, so your record is up to date as soon as you finish, with no paperwork to hand in.
Everything you achieve stays in your passport across every organisation you work for, with one login for rotations, bank shifts and joint posts. When you join an organisation that uses the same or a linked competency, what you have already completed counts from your first day, so you don't repeat what you have already shown.
Each competency you achieve comes with a certificate, and every certificate has its own QR code and web link to a live digital version. Anyone can scan the code without the Compassly app or a login and see the competency's current, validated status, so a colleague or new employer can confirm it is valid in a few seconds. You can also download a certificate as a PDF to share yourself.
If your next organisation also uses Compassly, comparable competencies carry on with you there. Even if it doesn't, you can still view all your previous competencies, read-only, so your record always stays with you.

If you work with a national passport, such as the UKONS SACT Competency Passport or the BOPA SACT Verification Passport, it is already in Compassly and sits alongside your organisation's own competencies, so all your learning is in one passport.
